Zashchitnik (The Protector) is a portrait of Pavel Fomenko, a man who has dedicated his life to tiger conservation. The risks of death are numerous; freezing cold temperatures, dangerous poachers, and wild predators. His only hope for survival is to think and live like the animal he's sworn to protect, the enigmatic Amur tiger.

About the director:
After a string of playful and provocative viral hits, Martin Stirling has been hailed as “one of the internet’s most watched directors”.
